Brenda Oyer

Board Member

Brenda is passionately pro-life and joined the CPC Board in November, 2025. She served as Director of Project Respect from August 2021 to August 2025, and began serving as a volunteer at our Wauseon center in February 2026. She lives and worships in Archbold, and currently serves on the Archbold Evangelical Church mission board. Brenda loves working with youth, and has worked with youth at her church through coaching Bible Quiz, serving as an adult leader on youth mission trips and as a small group mentor. She also loves serving Christ through Samaritan’s Purse disaster relief opportunities. She enjoys bicycling, walking (especially with her dog Jackson), cross country snow skiing, and making homemade cinnamon rolls with her nephews at Christmas time.

Brenda’s education includes a Doctor of Education in Leadership Studies from Bowling Green State University (BGSU), a Master of Education in Educational Psychology from the University of Toledo, and a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Psychology and Religion from Anderson University (Indiana). Her professional roles have included Research Development Officer for BGSU, Associate Director of Research and Data for The RIDGE Project, and Partnerships for Success Coordinator with the Fulton County Health Department. She also has more than 20 years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities and their families, in roles ranging from direct service to executive administration.
