You are not alone!

WE CAN HELP YOU MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION FOR YOU.

If you have just found out that you are pregnant, and this isn’t part of your plans right now, you could be feeling confused, scared, or alone. With all of the emotions you are feeling, choosing what you will do next can be very difficult. This is one of the biggest decisions you may make in your life, so whatever choice you make for your pregnancy you are going to live with that choice for the rest of your life. Carefully weigh your options based on information rather than just emotion. Don’t let pressure and panic replace rational, thoughtful reflection. Use your head to guide your heart.

Choosing to parent is an important decision.

Parenting is very challenging, but, with the support of caring people, parenting classes, and other resources, many girls find the help they need in order to thrive as a parent. CPC offers The Earn While You Learn Program, which is an education system of earning the things you need for your baby. The lessons are taught through a series of videos that cover everything from your pregnancy, newborn care and children 2-12 yrs old. You will be helped through your lesson by a friendly volunteer in a one-on-one session.  The benefits of this program are great! You will be able to earn many items for your baby and also gain valuable knowledge and confidence on how to raise your baby.

Learn more about adoption.

Adoption is not an easy choice. Often, this seems to be the most difficult decision, regardless of its impact on your career, education, financial stability and relationships.  The idea of carrying a child for nine months only to release her/him into the care of another family may seem emotionally impossible.  However, if parenting a child at this point in your life would be difficult, making a life-plan for adoption may have some benefits you haven’t thought about.  Thousands of women make this choice. Women who first thought abortion was their only way out often make this loving decision.

CPC is not an adoption agency and we do not facilitate adoptions, but can refer you to organizations that we know and you can trust.  Our staff will help you examine this option further and answer any questions that you have.

Slow down. Take your time in making a decision.

You should get the facts you need to know about which abortion methods are used at different stages of pregnancy. Learn what risks are involved in each procedure.

Life is full of possibility. Terminating a pregnancy ends possibilities, both for a new parent and the little one growing inside. Not only is this choice final, for some women it is deeply painful.  Ask yourself:

  • Do I think about abortion as ending a life?
  • How might I feel about my decision 10 years from now?
  • Do I understand the risks I might experience?
  • Have I listed what my hopes and fears are?
  • Have I seriously considered my other options?

There are other parenting options that may surprise you with unexpected joy and give you the opportunity to begin an unforgettable journey.
